Texas, for the fourth consecutive year, has been identified as the best state in which to do business by chief executive officers in a Chief Executive magazine survey.
Results of the magazine’s fifth annual “Best & Worst States” survey were released earlier this month. The next four best states behind Texas were North Carolina, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. The survey of 543 CEOs asked them to evaluate regulatory issues, tax policies, education, quality of living and other factors. The survey ranked California as the worst state for business, preceded by New York, Michigan and New Jersey. -MySanAntonio.com
