Poppies!

This weekend, we visited our neighbors at the Wildseed Farms!  This was the last day of their 2010 Wildflower Celebration, and the poppies, in particular, were spectacular...



        




I *may* have gone a tad overboard with all the photos... they were just so beautiful!  We spent the whole morning just strolling around and admiring the views.

    Wow, they really are spectacular!

    Everytime I see a poppy field I think of the Wizard of Oz: "Poppies... Poppies. Poppies will put them to sleep. Sleeeeep. Now they'll sleeeeep!"

    Yes, Wildseed Farms has very polite, but very insistent signs all over the place asking people to please stay on the path to minimize the trampling!
